This is a short history of a segment of the Densmore family that we believe follows the descendants of Adam Dunsmore (Densmore) from the middle of the 1700’s to the children of William Thomas Densmore who were born in the late Nineteenth century. In several cases no actual printed evidence can be found to complete some family ties, however, a great deal of evidence exists to promote an apparent connection.

Although this is a history of the Densmores there is no such thing as one family. It is equally as much a history of the Jacksons, Hayes’, Reavis’, Halls, and others who gave so much to our relatives called the Densmores.
